"Really like the color scheme of this suitcase. The wheels roll beautifully and the weight is very light. I had no problem packing some glass in the bag from an international airport and all was fine. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the plastic ribbing trim became scraped and frayed on its first trip. Not covered by warranty. I would buy this bag again though - very nice!"

"When I came to complete the review, it automatically listed it at 5 stars. Many people may not realize that when filling out a review and may leave it. However, I noticed it and left it with 5 stars because so far it has performed exceptionally well. I just took it on my first international flight from the US to Rome, Italy and it came through completely unscathed as if it were still brand new! There are several features I love about this bag! Both sides have straps to lock in your items, and a zip cover to keep everything in place when you open the bag. The squared-off design really provides more space to organize your things inside the luggage. I also like the expansion feature. It's why I decided to buy the medium check-in rather than the largest one available. I wanted the flexibility for more room only if I needed it. Although I have lost my confidence in Travelpro's soft-sided luggage, the Platinum Elite line is winning back my trust and my dollars!"
