"We have had Travelpro luggage for several years and as of late have shifted from full size to carry on Travelpro Platinum Elite to make out travels more efficient for us. The luggage is sufficient in size to accommodate world wide travel in overhead compartments and glides thorough the airports effortlessly on the newest wheel configuration. Needless to say this luggage is also great for the occasional road trip where it is stored in the rear of the car."
"Very nice luggage. Surprised how effortless it is to roll through the airport. My last bag was not nearly as easy to push although I never noticed it. One issue is the handle is too wide to fit my backpack over because the ends flair. Handles on many other bags do not flair."
"Love the style and quality of this bag. The wheels are smooth as silk, and it has so many functional pockets to carry all of your travel needs. Years ago I had a suitcase with the option to fit a garment bag inside and until I found the Travelpro Platinum Elite series, I've never seen it since. Thank you for designing such a beautiful piece of luggage. The only drawback is that the size of carryon bags has shrunken, and this suitcase may be a bit small for some of my trips. I've look at the matching medium checked bag in this series, and although it's gorgeous as well, I'm afraid the price point is not within my means. I hope that someday I can catch a sale on it and have the matching set. Until then, I'll use this back at every opportunity."
"I replaced a nice samsonite after buying a hardside traveler for my husband. Decided to try a softside. You have to love the wheels, and it is roomier than expected. I can stack compressed packing cubes and fit a ton of clothes along with the many pouches. These suitcases will last for a long time!!"
"I took it on a trip this past week, and it worked perfectly. The wheels are incredibly smooth, and overall, it's a lightweight case for the amount you can pack inside it. Granted, I had to adjust how I pack because I've been used to clamshell cases, but that was just a little learning curve. I would buy it again. Great quality. Highly recommend."

"It’s smaller inside than I thought it would be and won’t be adequate for what I wanted to use this bag for. The internal attached bags are probably something I could do without and take up space. I would have returned it but discovered I got it on sale and can’t return it. I think it would have been a good bag for traveling on business trips but I’m now retired."
"As a long time Briggs and Riley Baseline fan, this year on a 2 month trip to Europe I took the Travelpro Platinum Elite. We also took a Swissgear 8099 Expandable Spinner Carry-On. ONLY the Travelpro exceeded my expectations - it rolled straight because it has a PrecisionGlide system with eight MagnaTrac spinner wheels. I truly enjoyed rolling this suitcase down all the rough roads in Europe. The Swiss Gear was not good and I returned it when we got home. The wheels on it seemed to be pointed to the right most of the time. The Travelpro was less than half of the price of Briggs and Riley spinner (I have the two wheel version). I replaced my 2 wheeled suitcase for international travel with Travelpro and am glad I did. There were a lot of color choices, and because it was on sale ($280), it was an excellent price point for a spinner that rolls straight thanks to the magnetic wheels."
