We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 28 x 17.5 x 12 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 29.5 x 17.5 x 12.5 in. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

How many linear inches is this bag, and will I owe oversize fees?

How do I clean and care for it?

"I bought this to replace my Maxlite 5 medium spinner that went on at least 17 tough international trips and survived until the wheels started disintegrating on my last trip. I am trying this style out as I think the two wheels would be better than spinner which aren’t so great on uneven surfaces although I love using at the airport. I spend more time with luggage on cobblestone streets or uneven pavement so chose pull style. Bold is very well made with lots of space for a 2-3+ week trip. I look forward to trying it out on my next trip to Africa in a couple months. Will write a follow up then. I like the pocket for damp clothes this piece has also. Travel pro is the best luggage."

I do a lot of

"I do a lot of travel for both work and personal. I had a TravelPro Bold from 2016-2017 that held up well, but the wheels, or more specifically the wheel axles, finally wore out. I bought a new one last month. Overall nice upgrades, but the first time I used it, I was leaving the airport and the wheel fell off. Fixable, but a real pain to lug a 40-50lb suitcase around rather than rolling it. The axle or shaft for the wheel is a bolt with a nut on the inside. The bolt is too short and needs additional means of assuring it will not come out. Because the wheel stopped turning the wheel now has a flat spot on it and will have to be replaced. I would expect better quality and build from a high(er) end luggage manufacture."
