We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 27.5 x 18.5 x 12 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 30.5 x 19.5 x 12 in. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Combine mild soap and water, apply with a soft cloth, gently rub until clean, rinse well, and let the bag air dry completely before storing. Surface scuffs on hardside shells are cosmetic and do not affect performance; store the bag in its provided fabric cover when not in use. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
