We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 21 x 14 x 9 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 23.5 x 14.5 x 9 in. When airlines publish carry-on size limits, they mean the overall size, wheels and handles included, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Will this carry-on fit my airline's size limits?

A common mix-up: the International is not simply "smaller": it is shorter but wider than the Carry-On. If your airline enforces 22 x 14 x 9 in. exactly, compare each model's overall dimensions to that limit.

It rolls so freely I'm half afraid I'll have trouble keeping up with it in the airport terminal. "The front-pocket zippers are frustrating to use because the metal teeth frequently become misaligned, causing the zipper to catch and stick. The wheels also don’t roll nearly as smoothly as those on my Maxlite. I suspect the magnetic auto-align feature may be contributing to the problem. One of the suitcases consistently has a wheel that sits at the wrong angle, making it noticeably harder to maneuver than both my Maxlite and the second identical carry-on I purchased—even on smooth hardwood floors. The return process is also disappointing: I’m required to take the suitcase to a FedEx location myself rather than being offered a carrier pickup. For a premium suitcase, I expected significantly better design, performance, and quality control."

"1. I ordered a combo set in olive green. You sent me the wrong color. 2. I contacted customer service to initiate an exchange for the correct color. After asking me three times for the same information, the customer service rep stopped responding to me. 3. I then just returned the wrong color suitcase and repurchased the correct color. But this ended up costing me about $30 more than the combo set originally cost. So I paid extra for your mistake."
