No. This item is final sale. All purchases of this product are final and are not eligible for return, exchange, or the 100-day trial. Manufacturing defects are still covered by the applicable product warranty.

Will this fit under an airline seat?

It is designed to: the overall size including wheels and handle is 17.5 x 14.5 x 8.5 in. sized for the underseat space on mainline aircraft of major U.S. airlines. Underseat clearance varies by aircraft and seat position, so bulkhead rows and smaller regional aircraft may require the overhead bin instead.

Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 15.5 x 13 x 8 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 17.5 x 14.5 x 8.5 in. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Does this count as my carry-on or my personal item?

On most U.S. airlines it fits the personal-item role (the bag that goes under the seat), which can let you bring a full-size carry-on too. Some airlines publish personal-item limits smaller than their underseat space, so check your carrier. Our airline size guide is a good starting point.

Will it fit my laptop?

Yes, the padded sleeve fits laptops up to 14 inches. That covers 13 and 14 inch models such as the MacBook Air 13, MacBook Pro 14, Dell XPS 13 and 14, and ThinkPad X1 Carbon. 15 and 16 inch laptops will not fit the sleeve. Screen size is the guide; a slim sleeve or case on the laptop usually still fits.

Is it water resistant?

Yes. The exterior fabric has a DuraGuard® coating that resists water and stains, so it holds up to rainy sidewalks and daily wear.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Submit a repair request through our warranty repair page for an online evaluation, with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase (or product registration). If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Prefer in-person help? Find the nearest authorized repair center. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page.

How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.

What warranty does this come with?

Travelpro products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. See our warranty pages for the coverage that applies to this collection. Note: this item is final sale and is not eligible for return or exchange.

Reviews

I like them very much.

"I like them very much. It looks good but it is strong and sturdy. The wheels run very smooth on every surface that I’ve pulled it on, and the handle especially is very nicely done. Quite spacious for an overnight or even packing for a weekend could be doable. I have not look too closely but where is the serial number? for registering for the warranty? Otherwise it’s a grand little luggage- I got this because a friend has it and he swore by it; I’ve also bought and discarded a couple of different brands."

Compact yet roomy.

"This bags offers several zippered pockets with plenty of room to compliment my 21" roll around bag."

— George S. (5/5)

Need a wider band for stability when stacking

"Size is good, I am past the age of carrying a backpack, so expected to adapt willingly. The carryon easily fit under “comfort” middle seat for delta, unsure that it would fit under main cabin seat, but would definitely fit in overhead. Need a wider band for stability when stacking on top of spinner."

Excellent smaller roller carry-on

"I normally use a backpack for my electronics (Mac, iPad, etc) and have always used a Nike small duffel bag as carry-ons. I purchased this RoundTrip Rolling UnderSeat Carry-on as a replacement for the duffel. It is working perfectly. Has more space, is certainly well-built, zippered side pockets + a zippered top/front and is quite sufficient for a week’s worth of clothes. I have 2 other TravelPro RollerBoards for longer trips. Everything from them is absolutely top-notch, and would very highly recommend without hesitation. My only ‘modification I did was cut out the internal padded laptop, which I didn’t need (considering my backpack use). Wasn’t that hard to do and it gave me extra internal space. Therefore, I’d recommend the mfgr provide for that to be a zippered-in removable option (for those like me w/a backpack). Other than that (for which I reduced my recommendation by 1 star), this is, for me, a wonderful (and permanent) addition to my other 2 TravelPros."

Terrible initial quality and follow up

"Initial unit had broken snaps. Sent it back. Replacement unit had same issue. Couldn’t use it for planned travel. Waiting on 3rd unit to be delivered. Customer service’s return communication was confusing and also tried to say it was only cosmetic. Told me to return bad unit, gave me a refund while shipping the first bad replacement. Finally supervisor said they would give me a third unit with no warranty since they didn’t know I was issued a refund already. I would send back the bad one I ended up with but don’t have packaging. Worst experience (not joking) with quality of a product that has supposedly a good reputation but all made in China."

Great purchase

"I wish I bought this years ago to replace my backpack . I carry 2 laptops and an iPad plus misc travel related materials . This takes a huge load off my back plus it rolls easily through airports. It’s a snug fit under seats but easily fits in overhead bins. Highly recommend"

— Genie D. (5/5)

the carry on will meet

"the carry on will meet my travel needs. I like the padded compartment for Ipad/computer. I will be using it for the first time this week."

— Roxanne R. (5/5)

Rolling underseat carry on

"Fits under seat perfect rolling carry on. Great access ability."

— Dorian E. (5/5)

Too Small

"Very well built but too small for an all-in-one short trip bag"

— sholom g. (5/5)

Not really an underseat bag

"I could not fit my bag under the seat on Delta airlines so I was disappointed to have to use the overhead compartment. I specifically purchased this so I did not have to lift a bag. Also, spinner wheels would really help."
