Will this fit under an airline seat?

It is designed to: the case is 15.25 x 13 x 8 in. (17.5 x 14.5 x 8.5 in. overall including wheels and handle), sized for the underseat space on mainline aircraft of major U.S. airlines. Underseat clearance varies by aircraft and seat position, bulkhead and some window seats have less room, so on smaller regional aircraft it may need the overhead bin instead.

Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 15.25 x 13 x 8 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 17.5 x 14.5 x 8.5 in. When airlines publish carry-on size limits, they mean the overall size, wheels and handles included, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Does this count as my carry-on or my personal item?

On most U.S. airlines it fits the personal-item role (the bag that goes under the seat), which can let you bring a full-size carry-on too. Some airlines' personal-item limits are smaller than their underseat space, so check your carrier's published numbers; our airline size guide is a good starting point.

How much fits in 26 liters?

Realistically 1-2 days of clothes plus the day kit: laptop or tablet in the padded sleeve, toiletries in the removable wet pocket, and chargers or documents in the front organizer. It is a personal item, weekender, and seat-side office in one, at 5.5 lbs empty.

Can I attach it to my other luggage?

Yes: a rear strap slides over the extension handle of any Rollaboard® or spinner, so it rides stacked on top of your bigger bag through the airport, hands-free.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Submit a repair request through our warranty repair page for an online evaluation, with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase (or product registration). If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Prefer in-person help? How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.

The carry on itself is

"The carry on itself is fabulous. Easy to use, all the right pieces to make it a #1 essential. The trolley strap on the back is close to worthless. It has VERY little give and takes too much effort to get it over the handle of the Travel Pro Platinum Elite(which is a fabulous suitcase!!) Then, when you need to remove it from riding on top of the suitcase it is a mini gymnastics routine-it has to be tilted just so-WAY TOO MUCH EFFORT to use it when I am taking another suitcase along. SO disappointed. I love Travel Pro but this trolley strap has totally frustrated me. No thank you."

great size and construction. wheels

"great size and construction. wheels are excellent. the removable toiletry bag has its connection pieces which remain in the way and is irritating if your not using the toiletry bag. Telescoping handle does not work as advertised. Trying to determine if it was actually damaged or was how it was designed was impossible to do speaking with the "customer support", which was to put it lightly, abysmal. I spoke with and agent who identified themselves as Manuel and he couldn't have been less helpful. Prob not his fault. an accurate reflection of the values of this company. Prob recently acquired by investment bankers. Finally, I went back to the website and had to watch the video to verify the telescoping handle was not working properly. Filling out the return/repair form is way more difficult that it should be. Prob another barrier to actually giving support. also, the receipt is almost unusable. . . . they essentially didn't send one. it was difficult to finally arrive at something I would call a typical receipt and even then, that was a stretch. . . . def not liking dealing with this co at this point"

Feather light feel even with

"Feather light feel even with the telescoping handle. Bought this for carry-on underseat use, because I need wheels at this point in my life. Capacity as I expected for the size with the option to remove the hanging toiletries pouch-- removing it makes the bag weigh even less. Not sure yet If I will use it. Overall, I am very happy at the light weight when every pound makes a difference. The only sort of negative is the trolley strap sits high and if this is stacked on my other suitcase using the trollet sleeve it barely overlaps the handle on my spinner. I knew this before buying, so it was expected. I think best use is as the wheeled bag with a tote or bag with trolley sleeve on top. Overall, a beautiful. bag that doesn't tip forward when I filled it. That is a great feature!. I would definitely buy this again!"
