What are the exact dimensions?

It measures 12 x 18 x 5 in. It weighs 1.2 lbs and holds 24 liters. That is the full exterior size, so you can compare it directly against airline or storage limits.

Can I bring this on the plane in addition to a carry-on?

On most airlines a bag like this travels as your personal item, stored under the seat, alongside a full-size carry-on in the bin. Check your airline's personal-item dimensions to confirm. Our airline size guide lists carry-on rules by carrier.

How much does it hold?

The listed capacity is 24 liters at 1.2 lbs empty.

Will it fit my laptop?

Yes, the padded sleeve fits laptops up to 16 inches. That covers virtually every mainstream laptop: the 16-inch MacBook Pro, MacBook Air 13 and 15, Dell XPS up to the XPS 16, Microsoft Surface Laptop, and 14 to 16 inch ThinkPad models, plus anything smaller. Screen size is the guide; a slim sleeve or case on the laptop usually still fits.

Is it water resistant?

Yes. The exterior fabric has a DuraGuard® coating that resists water and stains, so it holds up to rainy sidewalks and daily wear.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Submit a repair request through our warranty repair page for an online evaluation, with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase (or product registration). If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Prefer in-person help? Find the nearest authorized repair center. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page.

How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.

What warranty does this come with?

This product is covered by the Maxlite® 5 Warranty, plus our 100-day satisfaction trial with free returns. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

The bag is attractive and

"The bag is attractive and light but I was disappointed to find it holds less than I expected. It has no outside pockets except for 2 on the sides that can hold small water bottles and a narrow one on the front that can accommodate a small cell phone."

— Natalie C. (3/5)

Perfect FA Tote

"The perfect bag for a busy flight Attendant. Has the needed amount of pockets to store the essentials. Great looking bag as well."

— Catherine G. (5/5)

"Perfect. I can’t imagine how it could be improved."

— Sandra (5/5)

one major flaw

"This would be a perfect Tote if zipper closed completely across entire opening. Leaving gaps open on each side makes it unusable for me. Gaps allow items to be dropped out of bag and lost. I put my travel tote under the seat, laying it on its side so openings are a problem. Change the zipper coverage, and I will buy it immediately!"

— Lucille S. (3/5)

My new go-to for travel

"Well constructed tote for travel (or anytime). Roomy enough for tablet or laptop and other necessities when traveling. Outside side pocket securely holds hydro flask. The sleeve on the back side fits nicely over the extended handle of my Travelpro luggage."

— Danelle L. (5/5)
