We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 27.5 x 18.5 x 12 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 30.5 x 19.5 x 12 in. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

How do I set the TSA lock combination?

The lock ships set to 0-0-0. To set your own code: turn the dials to 0-0-0, remove the zipper pullers from the lock, press the reset button on the side of the lock with a pen until it clicks, choose your combination, then press or slide the release button. How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Submit a repair request through our warranty repair page for an online evaluation, with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase (or product registration). If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Prefer in-person help? How do I clean and care for it?

Combine mild soap and water, apply with a soft cloth, gently rub until clean, rinse well, and let the bag air dry completely before storing. Surface scuffs on hardside shells are cosmetic and do not affect performance. The full-grain leather trim needs no special treatment; wipe it with a dry cloth. I’ve owned quite a few

"I’ve owned quite a few Travelpro pieces over the years, including several from the Platinum Elite collection, so I already had pretty high expectations. The Platinum Reserve still managed to impress me. It feels noticeably more refined than my other Travelpro luggage, both in the overall finish and in the thoughtful details throughout the bag. What surprised me most was the packing capacity. I was able to fit more in this bag than I typically can in my Platinum Elite Large Check-In, but it was still very comfortable to maneuver. Even fully packed, it rolled smoothly and never felt cumbersome for a suitcase with this much capacity. I also really appreciated the included packing accessories. The packing cubes made it easy to keep everything organized, and the shoe bags are one of those simple additions that turned out to be especially useful. Having everything coordinate with the interior gives the whole packing system a polished, well-designed feel. I’ve been very happy with my other Travelpro luggage, but the Platinum Reserve feels like a step above. If you already like Travelpro and are looking for something at the top end of their lineup, or simply want a spacious checked bag that combines excellent organization with easy maneuverability, I highly recommend it."

"The platinum large check in is enormous and I am excited to see just how much it holds on an upcoming trip! My wife and I will definitely be able to share the space and pack some extra luxuries, extra shoes, jacket, travel pillow etc! My only reservation is once packed , how much will it weigh! The zip pockets, and included bags are great for organizing and a bonus for the purchase. For the size it is understandably heavier than I am used to traveling with, but the steering and wheels are smooth as silk! I’m excited to utilize all the features. Nd packing options."
