Frequently Asked Questions
Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?
We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 25 x 17.25 x 13 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 27.25 x 18 x 13 in. When airlines publish size limits they mean the overall size, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.
How many linear inches is this bag, and will I owe oversize fees?
Linear inches are height + width + depth. This bag measures 55.25 linear inches by case dimensions and 58.25 including wheels and handles. The standard checked-bag limit on most airlines is 62 linear inches (158 cm). This bag sits within that limit. More detail in our luggage size and weight guide.
How much can I pack before hitting airline weight limits?
Most U.S. airlines cap checked bags at 50 lbs. This bag weighs 12.3 lbs empty, which leaves about 37.7 lbs of packing before standard overweight fees. A luggage scale is a good companion for long trips.
Does the expansion matter on a checked bag?
Expansion adds packing depth, which also adds to the bag's linear inches and invites heavier packing. If you are near your airline's size or weight limit, measure and weigh the bag expanded, the way it will actually fly.
How do I set the TSA lock combination?
The lock ships set to 0-0-0. To set your own code: turn the dials to 0-0-0, remove the zipper pullers from the lock, press the reset button on the side of the lock with a pen until it clicks, choose your combination, then press or slide the release button. Write the code down somewhere safe. Step-by-step video and more lock help are in our customer FAQ.
How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?
Submit a repair request through our warranty repair page for an online evaluation, with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase (or product registration). If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Prefer in-person help? Find the nearest authorized repair center. Full coverage details are on the warranty information page.
How do I clean and care for it?
Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
What warranty does this come with?
Travelpro products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. See our warranty pages for the coverage that applies to this collection, plus our 100-day satisfaction trial with free returns.

Beautiful Suitcase & Weekender Bag
"Love the color, very high end looking with the black leather trim! The weekender bag is larger than I thought. It will be a great bag to carry on, lots of room with a separate shoe compartment!! Haven’t been on a trip yet, can’t wait to try it out!!"
"Love these suitcases. I bought this one to replace my 10 year old TravelPro."

An Excellent Piece of Luggage
"I received the Travelpro Travel+Leisure 25” suitcase for review. Travelpro said to give the good and the bad so here I go! First impressions: this is a high-quality piece of luggage. The overall feel seems solid and strong, with no flexing, twisting or creaking. It seems well-made and something I wouldn’t have any problem taking with me on a trip, short or long. Mine came in a graphite gray (my wife’s description, not mine) and I really like the color. Pros: 1. I like the feel of the outside. So many hard-shells are slick, but the T+L has almost a texture-like feel to it. When I picked it up and put it on the bed I didn’t feel like it was going to slip. I really like the textured feel they put on this. 2. The little things make a big difference. Like the Chromed corner pieces. A nice visual plus some protection on the corners. 3. The built-in TSA locks are welcome. Easy to set and adds the additional security going through airports. 4. The handle was very impressive. I’m 6’2” and it was at a very comfortable height for my hands. It was very sturdy, one of the first things I look for. When I pulled it all the way up it was very solid with no twisting or turning. 5. The wheels on this are phenomenal. They roll so smoothly and the case tracks like a dream. I loaded the suitcase up and dragged it across a carpeted floor; it was very easy to pull. That will be so helpful in some airports. 6. The zippers seem very strong, not flimsy or prone to failure. 7. The interior is nicely finished. The two compartments have good straps and covers to keep things where they’re suppose to be. Cons: I found nothing negative about this suitcase. Overall Impression: The long-term durability is yet to be seen, but I get the impression that this will handle the rigors of the airports, trains and travel in general. I need to let it be abused by the luggage handlers, however I think it’s going to be a welcome piece of travel gear for us."
Best suitcase I've had
"Took it cabin camping with me and it held up so well. Still beautiful and sturdy after being drug on gravel and cabin floor, and thrown around by airport staff."
Green and Great
"I bought the green suitcase because I liked the color and for the fact that it would stand out on an airport luggage conveyor belt. And that it surely does. It's also more sturdy than similarly styled luggage of other brands, although it is a little heavier, but not too heavy. I am very pleased with my purchase."
Best luggage
"We have owned soft-sided luggage, hard shell luggage, and we recently settled on the Travelpro x TraCEL + Leisure spinner luggage. We have the luggage in Trunk and Carry-on sizes and recently purchased the Medium Check-In Spinner. It packs well, holds a great deal, and withstands baggage handling. The final feature is the stylish look of the luggage. Our luggage in blue with the leather handles. We are very happy with the entire set."
Check in luggage
"Bought this bag to go with my very used carry on Travel Pro carry on bag - anticipate loving it!"
