Do the listed dimensions include wheels and handles?

We publish both numbers. The case dimensions (the packing body only) are 21 x 14 x 9 in. The overall dimensions, which include wheels and carry handles, are 23 x 14.5 x 9 in. When airlines publish carry-on size limits, they mean the overall size, wheels and handles included, so compare the overall number to your airline's limit.

Will this carry-on fit my airline's size limits?

Yes, for the major U.S. airlines: it is sizer-bin tested to fit their carry-on sizers and overhead bins on mainline aircraft. Its 23 in. overall height is marginally above the commonly published 22 x 14 x 9 in. standard, typical of nearly all premium carry-ons, and it fits the sizers that airlines actually use.

Why does the weight matter so much on a carry-on?

At 5.4 lbs this is one of the lightest wheeled carry-ons we make, about 2 lbs lighter than premium peers. That matters twice: lifting into overhead bins, and on the many international carriers that cap cabin-bag weight at 15-22 lbs, where a lighter shell means more of the allowance goes to your things.

Does expanding the bag change whether it fits airline sizers?

Yes. The zippered expansion adds about 2 inches of packing depth, and a fully expanded bag may not fit a strict airline sizer. If your airline enforces its sizer, board with the bag unexpanded and save the expansion for the trip home or checked segments.

How do I make a warranty claim or get repairs?

Submit a repair request through our warranty repair page for an online evaluation, with photos of the issue and your proof of purchase (or product registration). If the issue is covered, Travelpro provides replacement parts or, when a bag cannot be repaired under an active warranty, a replacement bag. Prefer in-person help? How do I clean and care for it?

Use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water, apply with a soft cloth, and gently rub the affected area until the spot lifts. Let the bag air dry completely before storing. A little lemon juice in the mixture freshens the fabric. More care tips are in our customer FAQ.
