Great luggage for frequent traveling

"I am completely in love with this purchase and highly recommend both of these bags! I’ve owned many suitcases in the past, and these performed much better than the brands I’ve owned in the past, including Samsonite. The wheels and zippers performed well and I had absolutely no issues with a trip abroad. They handled well and the 360° wheels performed flawlessly. During my trip, the smaller suitcase was carried on- I recommend carrying it on un-expanded as the size capacity is large and it may be flagged for being an oversized bag if the expansion is unzipped. The larger bag was checked, and while this speaks more to the airports that were handling the bag, it sustained only 1 scratch and the wheels and zipper were perfectly intact after all flights there & back. The weight is a perfect mid weight- it’s not so bulky that it cuts down on the amount of/weight of items you can pack, but it isn’t so lightweight that you worry about your items inside becoming damaged. The build includes perfectly reinforced corners with heavy-duty wheels and handles."

New "Roundtrip" set

"I am a retired airline crew member and have used Travelpro bags extensively in the past-mostly soft sided. I just completed an 18 day trip to Australia with the medium sized hard case checked bag. It included 3 domestic legs inside Australia. The bag looks good, although it did suffer the usual scuffs from the baggage smashers. The reinforced corners are nice, and the 4 swiveled wheels are nice for maneuverability, standing up to the handling. I usually pulled it behind me like a two wheeled model on the longer concourse walks. It held all the clothes needed for 3 different areas of weather- 65F & rain to 103F and 15% humidity. The zippers could be beefed up a little, the one on the expanding seam needs to be aligned properly to insure it doesn't cross feed. The interior could use a couple more storage pockets along the side-waterproof. My only real complaint-two of the four "feet" on the side of the case opposite the handle broke off during the first two legs. They can be easily replaced assuming I can get the parts, but they are really not necessary-a protrusion on the side of the bag just begging to be stripped off. I haven't used the carry on bag yet, but I expect it to perform well. Overall, a nice set with a lot of utility. 'Just wish the small feet on the side of the bag hadn't broken off."

Poor quality, zipper failed while on vacation

"The check-in luggage is less than a year old and has only been on two trips, the one I’m currently on included. Already one of the interior zippers has failed, making it so one of the compartments cannot be fully closed. This is a huge inconvenience and will obviously make packing and unpacking for this and any future trips more difficult. When I brought this up to Travelpro, their response was to ship me a new zipper that I would have to install myself, and to top it off I would be responsible for the shipping fee on the replacement part. Ridiculous. Terrible quality and poor customer service. Would not recommend at all."

"I packed the medium size Roundtrip suitcase for a 10 day trip to Canada. It was perfect and held as much as a Samsonite large luggage piece.
